Only watch I will buy is the BLRO Pepsi. I was offered the blue dial DJ 41 recently but passed it up.

I put down a deposit for a 116519LN just before the COVID outbreak really hit the US, and I still plan to pick that up if/when it comes in this year, but aside from that I'm done for 2020.

$0, but there's really no need to budget. I'm not really in the market, unless something really awesome comes my way. I wouldn't mind picking up a 6-digit Day-Date for a very good price.

I am still buying RG YM to commemorate my college graduation. The virus has not changed that. You only graduate undergraduate once.

There wasn't one, but I exceeded it, upgrading to a DD 40 from a DD 36 last month.

I’ve got all the money in the world if my AD wants to sell me that 5711 at MRSP.

Not looking for anything new this year unless something really outstanding is introduced along the way. If anything I was planning on trimming the herd of the seldom worn pieces but since it’s not a good time to do that I’ll just hold for now.

I was hoping to reward myself with a couple of nice watches for 2020 as I had a very good 2019. I had set aside enough for an AP ROO and a SD43. I'm holding off though as 2020 is turning up to be a very bad year for me. I really hope things get much better pretty soon.

I did get a panerai earlier this year though but that's it

$8374. MSRP +6% on a 114060 on Feb 24 before the virus hit the fan. That's it for a long, long time!

If pricing falls as predicted by pandemic recession; I might be tempted even to buy Rolex again.

Mine is expected to be around EUR 50 k. Expecting to get 126719 anytime soon, but with current situation most likely during summer!

I have a very nice collection, so my motto this year is "If I can't eat it, I'm not buying it."

Unless it's the Daytona.

I did buy the BB58 this year, however.

If the watches I like to buy are not available at MRSP, I do not need any watch funds.
Priority is getting this pandemic over with asap. Health is king nowadays, not cash for watches.

Probably around $0.00

I really don’t want to be stabbed by the wife, but my current ones will go to my kids one day. If I can convince her I would really like a 5 digit DJ 36 with a blue dial and a sports model thinking SD43 or something similar depending on what I’m feeling for the long term after the kids have taken my collection away.

I have sold $49k (net) this year. Glad I did where values are likely headed. Thinking about selling my YG DDII for a YG DD40, and then there is the unicorn waiting list for a stainless Daytona which have been on 32 months. Any way I work it, I am net seller this year.

Just a Hulk at MSRP. Then no more. Ever!

Well maybe a Patek 5396 eventually....

This was supposed to be the year of the PM rolex for me. I am not going to let this virus stop me, although I may wait a few weeks to see what prices do...

Also, let’s not forget geographical location.....you understand $80k in some places is more than $150k in NYC/LA.

This sense of elitism that’s exuded is kind of disappointing. Because 100% this means you would look at somebody who nets $75k per year and think ‘they can’t afford a Rolex’.
They cant and they shouldnt are 2 different things. Different strokes for different folks. Much wiser things to do with that money. Even if youre making double that. I wouldnt! To each their own.

I'm not a collector so I don't budget for watches. When something grabs my fancy, I get it. That is, so long as I consider the price reasonable. And "reasonable" is a sliding scale, determined largely by how much I like the watch. Fortunately I have rather narrow tastes.
