Datejust / Day-Date Question

I’m infatuated with PM right now, and have my mind set on a YG Day-Date. I have small wrists and own a SS DJ 36 (116234) that I love. Common sense would seem to indicate that the DD 36 would be the right size for me.

Does anyone own a DJ 36, and also opted for a DD 40?

I have a small wrist also (6.5"), but I prefer 40mm watches more than 36mm.

A mate of mine had a DD40, and while I don't think it looked too big, the proportions do seem slightly off compared to the DD36 (in my opinion anyway). I feel like the DD40 gets better dial choices, though.

I have a 6.75 inch wrist and owned the DD36 but ended up moving to the DD40. I think it fills out my wrist much better and I like the extra heft of the additional PM.

Try them both on.. I had the 36 DD then in 2015, the 40 came out and my 36 was never the same to me.. to each their own, but I have a 40 now and is my final watch. (63 yrs old) lol

Happy hunting

I have 7.5 inch wrist, I do have a DJ36 and went for the DD40, in my case the reason was that while I appreciate the classic 36mm case I really liked the roman numerals on DD40.

I have 7.5” wrist and have OP36 as well as DD40 white gold. Love both. Would recommend 36 for YG for sure and 40 for WG/RG based on dial selections available.

DD36 owner here. To me its the classic, it wear a little bigger than the 36DJ I have, I think it is the perfect watch.

DD40 all the way. It's the perfect size for most people.

Ofcourse you could also go for the 36, but the 40 would look better.

Unless you have very tiny wrists, 36mm is a feminine size.

Own both a DD36 (YG) and DD40 (olive). The 40 is much larger but the proportions are fantastic. I prefer the YG in 36 because its not quite as shouty in that size. Both are fantastic.

I have a SS 36mm DJ, and SS 40mm Submariner Date. Love them both on my 7 1/2 wrist.

Sorry, that’s just a really silly comment. 36mm is a total classic size.
