Batman/Batgirl sells on EBay with serial number exposed
Hi all , just noticed a 126710BLNR sold on eBay exposing the serial number and AD name from Hong Kong. Does this mean the AD will be punished for selling to a flipper (assuming it gets spotted by Rolex) or does it just get brushed under the carpet?

I'm not sure it will be top of the AD's priority list right now...but I could be wrong.

That’s Rolex main priority right now. Someone flipping a watch. Not the global pandemic and how that will impact sales, production, and their future releases. Nope. It’s the Batgirl being flipped in Hong Kong.

I’ve bought several watches from the grey market. Each one I receive, I call the original AD and confirm the date of purchase with the serial number. I don’t give them name, though I assume they have it on record.
I’d say 7 out of 10 times, they’ll confirm the SN and date of purchase is in their records. Then there are AD’s that will refuse to disclose that information. Probably not good for the original purchaser. Sell @ your own risk.. But selling your watch isn’t a bad thing, as long as it’s not done within a year of purchase. After that, I don’t think they care. |

Quite frankly I don't think that's a priority for Rolex. They should have bigger issues right now, like the closure of their factory in Switzerland and not knowing when they will reopen.

I doubt Rolex HQ is splitting hairs over this one.

You are not allowed to sell your watch anymore?
