Batman, Batgirl, Bruce Wayne

Looking for collective wisdom:

Why is the Batman on a jubilee referred to as the “Batgirl” when a Pepsi doesn’t receive a name change when placed on a jubilee?

Furthermore, why not refer to the Batman/jubilee combination as the “Bruce Wayne?”

Batman=Rugged, practical, technologically sophisticated (Oyster, polished CL)
Bruce Wayne=Elegant, refined, traditional (Jubilee)

If Rolex released a Hulk on jubilee I’d refer to it as the Bruce Banner.

(I’m new here, so go easy!)

Batgirl started out as a derogatory term for those who believed the jubilee wasn’t macho apparently. Silly nonsense really.

It's called the Batgirl, because it has a more feminine look.

This.

It’s meant to dis the new BLNR and not meant for a cool new name. I’m sure there are probably some members that don’t realize that but the vast majority know it including those who continue to use the term batgirl.

Have to agree these rather stupid nicknames are something what children would use in Kindergarten schools and not by grown up adults.
