I am not one to have material attachments, and figured my son may not even want it. I've been cleaning out the house of a lot of random things taking up space (like my old high school yearbooks) and figured it was time for the sub to go to a new home.

My WG Daytona on Oysterflex is my new daily.
Are you stil married?

+1. I will be glad if I can own one in the next 3 years.
Hopefully I can be disciplined up to that point as well

I sold my 16610 in February for more than I paid for it. I wasn’t wearing it much and felt like we were probably close to the top of the market.

I started w/ Patek, bought [and still own] Rolex, and now I choose Tudor because it fits who I am and offers references that interest me.

You've decided what is right for you. Your collection focus has evolved and you followed your gut. Well done and it's refreshing to see honest self reflection.

That is a pretty neat outlook on watch collecting! I'm always trying to outdo my last acquisition buy buying PM. I may have to start looking at Tudor.
