Watch for everyday with suit (Automatic vs Mechanical)

Dear friends! What do You think and can suggest for everyday with suit?
Have seen Rolex Cellini, Piaget Altiplano, Cartier Ronde. But can't realize what to choose: automatic vs mechanical, 36 vs 38 vs 40. Need Your suggestions. Thanks!

While I would love to come to your aid, mine would be far too wild a pitch. Need to know much more if one wanted to help channel your preferences. Your preferences, for starters.

Cheers
Marc

I wear suits a lot (or did before March) and wear an Explorer. While not a true dress watch, I love a bit of sporty without overdoing it like a diver watch would.

Plus so comfortable and easy to wear with dress shirts. And looks great with jeans and polo or T-shirt and board shorts!

I love my Explorer

Hmmm, 38mm and manual wind
GS comes to mind

I assume you're after a PM piece?
Any preference for Yellow gold, Rose gold or Platinum?

This. The Patek Calatrava would have to be the quintessential dress/suit watch. But this is TRF so go Cellini! That line doesn't get near enough attention. I can tell you from experience if you actually plan on wearing it every day, remembering to wind a manual watch will start to feel like a chore after while; you'll eventually forget and look down at a dead watch. As for size that just depends what fits you best.
