Incoming - An old friend returns
Quick backstory - The first watch I bought myself was a Rolex Explorer a few years back. I loved that watch and wore it everywhere. However, it became associated with quite a few unpleasant memories and I grew tired of wearing it. I've since cycled through a polar Explorer II (16570), Milgauss Z-Blue, and a Datejust 41 126300 (Dark Rhodium).
Today, I made a deal to trade the DJ for a very clean Explorer (MkII dial this time) from a trusted seller. I'm excited to have my old friend back and make some new memories.

Great choice! I think it’s a perfect watch, if there can be such a thing.

Congrats! Going full circle. This is one reason I struggle with trading in a DJ I own because it was my first Rolex purchase.

It definitely was a tough call. It's a gorgeous watch (and I still love the Rhodium dial), I just found myself getting annoyed with it constantly looking dirty from fingerprints/dirt accumulation. I'm glad I owned it, I just came to realize I prefer brushed cases/bracelets for my collection.
