That warm feeling.

So my phone rang last week and I paused when I saw Watches of Switzerland on the screen. I answered and Caroline from my Cardiff A.D said they would be opening this week and my watch would be back from the service centre. She stated that due to their new guidelines appointments have to be made and that she would call to make one once my watch arrived.

I was naturally over joyed since it was sent off in January and everything closed down when the Covid outbreak began. I carried on with my day until I heard that St. David's center Cardiff may close Saturday and go into administration. Bear in mind that the majority of the A.D's in Cardiff are inside St. David's center, including W.O.S.

I called up and didn't mean to be the bearer of bad news but they had heard nothing about it. "They've been saying that for years" Caroline said jokingly and said she was confident it would be ok. Saturday came and my a** was cracking walnuts not knowing what was going to happen, not just becouse of my watch but the many jobs at risk in a center that has been there for so long.

My phone rang Saturday and I had that sinking "here we go" feeling. Caroline again said "your watch is back, I've got it in my hand, we open for collections on Thursday so would you like to book your appointment?" Knowing I was busy Thursday I booked for Friday morning.

It's great to know that W.O.S and St. David's center are stated as open and that I will finally be getting my Daytona Rolesor back!
