Are you selling your Rolex to buy a BB 58 Blue?

This statement exposes the absurdity of the initial question ...

While a great watch at MSRP, the BB58 (blue or black) is no where near the watch of an Omega SMP Diver 300. And it is no where near the collectibility of a 5 digit Sub.

In summary, only a fool would pay over MSRP for the BB58 Blue/Black. But a very smart/happy person would buy it at MSRP.

HUH??? You're trying to answer a question that hasn't been asked and probably never will.

Yes that’s a great analogy IMO!

It's hilarious that not everybody has the same size wrist?

I see two types of Tudor watch buyers - those who already own several Rolex watches and those who do not own any Rolex watches.

I suspect those who do not own Rolex watches may sell one or more of their other watches to get the BB58.

For existing Rolex watch owners, getting a Tudor is probably like getting a "value" watch, as it is a lot more inexpensive than most Rolex watches. Unless there is a Rolex watch that is collecting dust that one no longer wants to keep, probably few people are selling a Rolex to get a BB58.

Nope, sorry to say I am a Rolex snob. Tudor is a half way point. You spent so much to get a Tudor, spend a bit more and go Rolex or Omega.

How many of you are selling your Rolex to get the hot new watch? How many didn't plan on getting it but are now onboard the train?
Ehhhh......no

It are just watches

Unfortunately most people still believe the most expensive is the best
In the past I sold a patek I didn’t like anymore and bought Rolex and tudor....

People are so blind and just buy that name on the dial.... a pity
Because its a Rolex Forum!!

It’s seriously time for Tudor to get its own Sub-Forum.
Time to move out and stop living in daddy’s house.

Tudo BB58 Blue has potential to be as big a release as a Rolex at 1/3 of the price. I am still failing to understand why some knock Tudor as much yet its mentioned in the same breath and on the same forum as its big brother.

BB58 blue

Sell my Rolex for the BB58 Blue?

Of course. I sold off all my Rolex SS sport models and Pateks in order to stock up for the Blue. I was not all that stupid though as I saved some money for future releases of the BB58 like the green, ghosted bezel, red, and bronze. See, I am a pretty smart fella.

Its not available below retail. Its selling for more money than SMP 300 in grey market and in the opinion of many is a better watch than Omega.

I wouldn’t take a Tudor at 20 percent off. I hate them and have never liked them period.
