Why is it sold for 18 mill? That watch belongs to some guy name Newman. Oh yeah that’s why.

For me it would be the GMT without a question all day long. I had a Daytona but sold it about 5 years ago. The reason, I had trouble reading the sub-dials. Also while it was nice and I had a lot of fun with the chrono function it really did not serve a functional purpose for me. Their just not a lot of things I need to time. While I don’t travel a great deal the dual time zone complication would come in handy.

I vote for the GMT.

Like others here have said, the dial is too busy that it needs effort to read the time. I was also turned off by the facts that 1) the crown side of the lugs are not proportion to the other side, 2) the subdials of modern Daytonas are not centered, 3) the screw down function of the pushers make it inconvenient to time something in a snap.. and it doesn’t look balanced when unscrewed...

I have the black Daytona and crave a GMT!

Owning both, the Daytona feels more refined and special. The GMT is chunkier and a bit more of a work horse, whereas the Daytona feels like a show horse. I need both in my collection.

I’m not a fan of the jubilee bracelet BLNR so for me it would be the Daytona.

The Daytona could be in the budget and it looks stunning. But it doesn’t satisfy any functional need I have. I’d also have to tote reading glasses to read the watch

The GMT fits the budget, looks good ( although I much prefer my older BLNR ). I travel a lot and the dual time zone is useful and I like a date.

I’d pick the GMT.
Irritating answer: OP is asking you to consider his position and then respond... not consider your own position (which sounds like a financial limited, visually impaired one).

I have both in TT. Love them both, but the Daytona gets more wrist time.

I would go for the Daytona (white not black) first if I could get one now then wait for a GMT later (much easier to get)

I now have both and lean towards the gmt. The jubilee bracelet is more comfortable and additional time zones/date are more useful.

I'll take the Pepsi on Jubilee first, LN on Oyster after that, BLNR on Oyster after that, and you can keep the BLNR on Jubilee and Daytona.
