Which one should I get?

Hi guys, I was offered the Navitimer 1959 re-edition from two different local ADs and am wondering how limited edition numbering works. Is the number on each piece is based on the time of production?

I was offered one with 98 / 1957 and the other with 1054 / 1957.
Does this mean that the latter numbering was produced relatively later than the 98 one?

Which one do you guys think is the better choice for purchase?

The only two numbers I would let affect a decision like that is #1 or #1957. Any other number doesn’t matter.
