Thanks, guys!!! I really like it as well!!!

I want to add a few things. First, that the hands and hour marks are different colors. I've another Ball watch (Marvelight) where that is true but I can't tell it at night. With this watch the orange and green are definitely different in the dark. I'll check the timing on the watch starting today on the inhouse made chronograph movement.

Also worth noting is the quality of the matching Nato strap. I really like it. It is adjustable for tailoring the length of the lead end which is threaded though the buckle also it has slits for the pins like the Tudor fabric straps. I like the way it matches the watch very well and makes what could be a rather heavy watch very comfortable. It's well thought out for Ball to provide it as an option when purchasing on line.

The shape of the watch is very vertical. It almost has a tuna can shape. I'd call it that if that weren't already assigned to another brand. They've also done a great job of polishing the space between the strap lugs. This really is nice with the area exposed on the fabric strap (it's really not a Nato design).

Finally I'm not certain if the same bezel is being used on both models (40 and 43mm) as the bezel on the 40mm version is a bit larger than the case; I suspect thought that this is just a design feature. This is the first watch in my experience with that proportion.

Have a great weekend everyone!!! Attached are a couple of added photos.

Congratulations Lee.

I’ve been interested in Ball for ome time now, just haven’t gotten around to them yet.

How thick is that reference? Looks beefy

It's listed as 13.5mm thickeness. My micrometer has it at just a bit thicker than 14mm, say, 14.2mm.

This is my third Ball watch and so far my favorite. Interestingly it has two different materials for lumes. The dial ones are tritium tubes; the ones on the ceramic bezel are Luminova of some sort. From a diving perspective the Luminova ones really light up after exposure to daylight but fade like all Lumes of this material. They'd be great for diving with as they're bright for a half hour but are pretty dark by the end of the night. The tritium tube lumes are really bright to adjusted eyes but harder to catch their brightness in slightly darkened spaces.

No problem; they've seemingly stepped up their game. I know that one member had an older model and didn't like the feel of the bracelet; I really like them.

Here you go... The Luminova wasn’t charged up on the bezel. The tritium is nice and bright.

That’s awesome!!! I’ve been toying with the idea of a ball for the tritium and under the radar!

Congrats. I am always drawn to the designs of ball watches. I am thinking of preordering one myself soon.

Thanks for the congratulations!! I can't guarantee that they are perfect. There was a serious delay in receiving mine due to the pandemic. Preordering is a pretty good way to go. Note that the watches shown on their site for the preorders are CAD drawing and might change subtly from the drawing. I was lucky enough to be one of the first to order and chose number 0001 of 1000 which was pretty cool. I communicated with them through the wait and they say they are back at full capacity now. Also the shipped prior to their final commitment. Finally I have their inhouse movement which is running at about +1 seconds which is good enough in my opinion.

I'm also a real fan of their tritium dials although some look better than others. There is one more of their watches I'd like but have mixed feeling about the patented crown lock look. It also has tritium on the sapphire bezel. Mine has luminova on the more traditional ceramic bezel.

Really liking this one. Great choice
