U-Boat vs. L. Kendall

So, I have a nice Oris, a cool old Krieger, an bitchin old and inexpensive Rado, but looking for a watch a bit nicer than my Oris, which is probably my most expensive watch. I like the L. Kendall K-6, brown strap and black mother of pearl dial. I also like several U-Boat watches in the same price range, under $2500 or so. Any comments on which brand is better, worth the price, does one have a better movement than the other? I have heard U-Boat watches are overpriced and use inexpensive movements, what about L. Kendall..........

Of the two I've only had limited experience with U-Boat, but they seem to be quite similar in some respects and I believe they are owned by the same group. I would say that it just comes down which style you like best. Regarding price; I would suggest to try for the best possible discount, as both may be hard to move if you decide to sell in the future and will likely take a big hit in depreciation. All the more reason to go with the one you like most.
