To trade or...????

Dear All,
Currently have a 3-watch collection. Are back in the game after a 5year pause due to a burglary.

Current collection consist of SeaDweller126600/GMT 126710BLRO/ Date Just 126334 Blue stick/ All at retail.

Have put some thoughts into the combo of watches and are happy as is.... but. There is an itch for a DD/228235/Green dial/ and the feeling that th SD is a little uncomfortable and top heavy. So the thinking is to trade the SD and potentially the DJ and put som money in between to get the 228235. Or a flat SD vs SD trade to a 116600?

Am i being stupid trading the SD? Will the DJ be missed as the DD is "harder" to wear in terms of bling etc. Will i miss a proper sports watch in the line up as with the oyster bracelet..

Happy for any comments and thoughts

I did pretty similar...swapped my DJ 41 blue sticks, jub, Tudor GMT and a JLC reverso + cash for my DD. I do miss the DJ but they are pretty easy to pick up if I had the hankering again. The DD is on a completely different level so I don’t regret it at all and would advise the trade. Now would I have got rid of my Sub ...hmmm not sure me as me and my Sub have 30 years of relationship.

All I can say is the DD is very special but it depends what your SD means to you...hope that helps a tiny bit

IMHO the DD you’re seeking and the BLRO would make a perfect 2 watch pair. As with anything else, buy/wear what makes you happy. Best of luck and let us know what you decide
