Mods: Can we create a sub forum for incoming threads?

Just a question for other TRF'ers and mods:

Can we create a sub-forum for Incoming threads? I would like to see actual discussion threads but literally every other thread listed is either an Incoming, What Is it Worth, or a complaint about a waitlist.

Thoughts?

I concur. Incoming threads are the least interesting posts and take up lots of space.

They aren't discussion starters. It's just someone posting a photo of a watch on their wrist, then everyone else with the same watch posting photos of them wearing it which they've already posted in their incoming threads and everyone else's incoming threads. The most interesting posts in those threads say, "beautiful watch, congrats".

Incoming threads generate traffic. A new sub forum would likely deter new incoming threads.

Just sort through them. It’s not that hard.

I enjoy the Incomings. They don’t stay active very long. If you want more substantive content bumped then post in those topics and bump them up to the top again, or start new ones. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

...personally I like ‘incoming threads’. it’s nice to see the enthusiasm and passion...as well as seeing some references I may not be familiar with.

Before you ask for things on forum perhaps you should learn first where you should post these requests.

I agree. I'm going to say "incoming" posts are some of my favourite :)

OP, I truly enjoy incoming threads and love to see it when someone finds a watch that they are excited about

I think these threads belong in the open forum for all to see, not filed away in some sub forum.
