Omega bracelets.

Is this odd to you? When ordering a NEW Omega with a bracelet you must supply a wrist size. Presumably when the watch arrives it will fit perfectly. This particular watch seems to have a little play in the clasp for small changes, but not near as much as with a newer Rolex. Seems crazy to me. Say you gain or lose a bunch of weight? You need to pay Omega for extra links.

I missing something? Or just order the largest size and size accordingly by removing links??

I'm sure it's a courtesy and you get the extra links just as you would in the store after it was sized.

Perhaps it's Covid related and you don't have to visit the store to have it sized.

I believe they supply you with the remaining links in the box.

Actually, Omega has always queried size online, even before COVID. I, too, would assume that they’d send the links in the box.

Sadly, receiving unused bracelet links cannot be confirmed by Omega #800 number customer service staff.

Omega bracelets are the only reason I don’t buy Omega watches. Jk. Who knows who they have sizing the bracelets. I’d recommend ordering the largest size and removing the links yourself if comfortable.

Buy the biggest size and size it yourself of course. You'll need a small tip punch to get the pin out of the link after removing the two side screws.

Makes sense, of course. Sure many do this. Weird thing, I'm buying it just to see it in person. They pay return shipping if I don't want it.

I will refuse to have them size it. Too many stories of incompetence (Not necessarily from omega), I’d prefer to do it myself.

I don't get the fuss here. The bracelet comes in one size, then:
- when you buy from OB, their watchmaker will make the bracelet fit your wrist and put the remaining links in a lovely red pouch back in the box next to the warranty card.
- when you buy online, they will do the exact same thing based on your estimated wrist size.

I call this "service".

AD here in Perth took the greatest care using and Omega tooling and some sort of oil/liquid. I wouldn't hesitate letting him size it again. He took his time, which to me shows he cared.
