Could anyone recommend a particular screwdriver for this please? (Particularly if you’re in the UK). I bought the parts from an Omega Boutique in London, but they said they weren’t able to fit the parts themselves as they weren’t technically for this watch. Got home and went to start doing it myself tonight, but realised I don’t have a screwdriver that will do the job

Get a Bergeon 1.60mm screwdriver and if you haven't already, a Bergen 6767 spring bar tool which is always handy

Too late! I dropped off a co-axial speedmaster-with adjustable clasp at the Omega boutique Trafford, Manchester on the 7 Feb. They said it shouldn't be a problem and i've heard nothing since. Once that's ready to be picked up, i'll be dropping off a 2500 PO for a service again with adjustable clasp. After all, I wouldn't want the clasps to miss out on a polish!

Prices on the parts have been recently increased by Omega. For example, I paid last year $61 for the STZ04666 short / 3 position clasp and early this year the price was $107. Someone said in another forum recently that that model MSRP is over $200 at the Boutique /AD so apparently Switzerland had continued to jack-up the pricing on the retrofitting parts. Still a lot more cheap than buying a glidelock clasp on a Rolex though!

I'm having some trouble locating a Boutique or AD that will do this for me or sell me the parts at least. Would you mind saying where you had this done? Thanks Last edited by kcgunner; 27 August 2020 at 07:01 PM.. Reason: forgot to quote |

A full boutique (not AD) should be able to one of order the parts for you. PM me and I can intro you to one of the managers that helped me order all the parts for my conversion.
