Blue dial on Black rubber strap

hey guys, wondering if anyone who owns both and would be so kind to post a photo of the new blue dial seamaster 300M on a factory black rubber strap

i know there is at least one forum member who owns several of the latest reference, actually i think he owns them all!

i have the the blue dial on the blue factory rubber, but i wondered what it might look like on the black strap to give it a little change up and break the monotone color palate

a photoshop rendering would also do nicely, i dont have the software or skills myself, but ive seen some impressive renderings from forum members in the past

Thank you kindly!!--- Mike

To be honest, the black strap is the one I would choose for the blue SMP. The blue strap is just a bit too much. I think the black strap would be perfect against the blue ceramic.

Not the greatest look imo. I just don’t think black and blue really go together well. However, I have a black OEM rubber on my blue SO44. (Came with my black and yellow model that I ended up selling on a different bracelet. So I had this left over for this blue model.) I can’t put it on my SMP due to differing lug widths. The SO44 is a darker shade of blue and more of a navy-ish shade vs the SMP, so it will look just a skosh different. Overall it works well enough looks wise that I wear it on the rubber sometimes just for the comfort of it (Breitling has one of the best rubbers I’ve tried).

thanks for the replies guys.

i think the breitling looks great! i agree with you that blue and black arent always a great match but i think it can and does look nice if you have the right shade of blue.

i have two rubber straps for my seamaster, one from Zealande which i bought before buying the factory omega rubber. The zealande is fantastic quality and wears very comfortably, if i had a time machine i would have bought a black one to try this color combo with, simply because the cost is a little less compared to the factory strap. This was if i hated the look id be out a few less bucks

ill keep thinking about it, if i order something ill try and post a picture
