Bracelet matching for 1803 day date

Hi all,
I recently bought a day date without a bracelet, because it was my favorite dial configuration. I'm not looking to get a bracelet for it.

This is the plexiglass 1803, and I didn't think there was any markings of the bracelet to consider when pairing. However this video https://youtu.be/JL_URtPqnHM?t=3m05s
it says the bracelets with a folding clasp have the date stamped in them?

I didn't think they did, can someone confirm or dispel this?

I'm considering getting a 53 stamped bracelet with a regular non concealed clasp, and as far as I can tell it doesn't have any markings other than rolex, 750 and the 53 end links.

Thanks in advance

Interesting, can't quite make out that marking.

I have a DD that dates to 1972, do you know what would be the apropriate bracelet markings to match?

Thanks very much for your reply.

Thank you!

Just found this interesting read too.

"Rolex bracelet codes are found on the inner part of the Rolex bracelet clasp and started in the 1950’s when Rolex also began stamping the inner caseback of their watches. The only difference being that Rolex used roman numerals for the ‘quarter’ stamp in the case back and standard numerals for their ‘quarter’ bracelet stamps – so a 4th quarter watch from 1965 would be stamped IV.65 in the case back but 4.65 for the bracelet and with the quarter number stamped above the year."

What do you make of this bottom buckle? I can't quite see what this marking means, or if half of it is scratched, or what is going on.

Edit: just realized that buckle is upside down, which would make it look like a D. Dating it to 1979, I believe.

Sorry for all the spam, but I'm a little confused.

When doing the serial checkup for my watch, i get both 1970, 1971 and 1972, depending on what source I use.

I understand rolex doesn't really keep formal records of this stuff, but it becomes confusing when I'm trying to pair it with an apropriate bracelet. If indeed the watch could be from 1970, that would be perfect for the 1970 buckle.

My own 1803 has the standard clasp and the tiny markings read, "3 68". IIRC the watch was sold to me as a 1967 but whoooo caaaaares IMO. If the watch is a super example for the museum, sure, be ana...neurotic about the bracelet. If you're just wearing it, as long as it's authentic and correct, it's fine.
