nice piece! the redial looks to be tastefully done. my only concern is that cal. 510 was never used in vintage semasters..are you sure that is what it has inside? as if it is then this unfortunately would be a frankenwatch :( :(
you can cross check on the omega vintage website.. register, go to advanced search and enetr 510 calibre number there and you will see only 3 models that used this mechanism and none of them where semasters. http://www.omegawatches.com/cu_vintage/main.php i suspect that this is the watch you have: Reference number: CK 14373 MOVEMENT Caliber number: 510 Created in 1954 17 jewels DIAL Metal, with "Dauphine" hands CRYSTAL Hesalite BRACELET Leather WATER RESISTANCE No CASE Stainless steel Press-in Full metal FUNCTIONS Subsecond MORE PRODUCT INFORMATIONS Case : round (33 mm diameter) For leather straps of 18 mm lug-size International Collection : 1958 Swiss retail price (1958) : not available Also available in 14K gold-filled under ref. (DW 14373) Same watch style as ref. 14371 but with subsecond you can check up refence number on caseback to see if this matches. hope this helps mamas |
