Icon4 Excess stem movement of new Exp II 216570?

Bought my NIB Exp II 216570 from AD and have noticed that when I unscrew the crown and wind the stem or pull it out to set time, the stem/crown have a noticeable wobble/play to it. Is this normal?
I compared it to my NIB 126610 LV Sub/date, it's stem/crown does not exhibit the same type of wobble/play.
Thoughts?
If not normal, should the AD be able to rectify it or send it out to RSC to address it?
Thanks.

Doesn't appear to be normal.

My Exp ii originally purchased in 2019 has a lot of play just like you’re describing. Way more wiggle than my Explorer. I chalk it up to the gmt complication, but who knows? Runs at +3sec/day, so I just go with it.

When the stem is pulled out the only thing that keeps it centered is the O-ring inside the tube.

You can push the stem laterally (play). You do not want to do this under water though, deformation of the o-ring will let water by and into the works.

appreciate all your insight. I will observe it and take it into the AD next time I'm out that way.
