Hey, Johnny, would you buy this?
Our friend, Chip, has done a fabulous photoshop on the Exp-II and produced this. I'm not sure how the rest of you are going to react to this baby, but I think it looks bloody stunning!!

Chip is the maestro of photoshop manipulation, his images are amazing. I really like this TT photoshopped model.. i think it adds a real piece of class to the model. If it was available in white i would buy it in a heartbeat.
i hope rolex produce it one day. mamas |

Thanks, Mamas, but I don't think that's ever going to happen. Some Rollies like the SD and the Exp-II are best left as only SS models. But I do like that one above. Can you imagine all that gorgeous, mouth-watering 18 K gold on the solid bezel? WOW!!

Now that's an Explorer II that I'd buy. Great picture.

Sorry, JJ, it just doesn't do it for me. Maybe I'm a purist, but I don't think you can dress up a sports watch like that. SS is best for sports watches, like the EXP, GMT, Sub and SD and Daytona. TT works best for DJ, date, and even DD. But that's JMHO.

i agree with most sentiments above, although of all the sports models, i think the exp 11 lends itself most to the TT makeover.
maybe chip should start a new tv program like the pimp my ride one on MTV (where they get an old car and bling it up and modify it) called pimp my rolex ..lololol mamas |

While I applaud Chip's photochop skills, I have to say that is one ugly mofo watch.
Rolex makes tool watches, and (no offence to any YG or TT owners) IMHO YG spoils the look and feel of a tool watch. I'm not a fan of TT watches, nor will I ever be. I can't imagine any speiliologist wearing that 1000' below sea level. |
