Why are 38 and 41 AT priced the same?
Simple question, but I'm not clear on the answer. Why do the 38mm and 41mm Aqua Terra have exactly the same price?
Every other brand seems to charge a small premium for the larger size version of each of their models (Rolex OP 34 vs. 36 vs. 41 all increase in price, for example), presumably because there is some extra material that goes into the larger watches. Also, it seems like they could charge a premium for the 41mm AT because it also comes in some additional colors that aren't available in the 38mm. |

Shhhh! Keep this to your self! We all know it, but don't want anyone else to find out and get the price raised!

Material cost is negligible.

I don’t understand why the 300mp is less money than the AT. Every time I think I want an AT, I think of this and the fact that it lists for $500 less than the blue dial AT on SS bracelet.

I wonder about that myself. I would think it would be the other way around. 300M has 300m water resistance, ceramic dial , bezel, helium valve and a awesome bracelet. I would think that alone would command $1000 - 1500 more.

I think the Seamaster bracelet is cool! I can’t be the only one. Omega sells alot of Seamasters, I assume.

I could defiantly live without the He valve. And to be honest I think the Reese's peanut butter cup shape of it was a mistake. It makes it VERY difficult to use. If it MUST be there, Put a beefy crown on the thing. Better yet Make a 301M as a option without the He valve. I love the bracelet. If it was tapered, I would love it more.

I loved the Seamaster 300, but the bracelet was absolutely a deterent and a reason I flipped it. Construction-wise, it's fantastic. I think their micro adjustment is robust and I don't mind the overall look. I think the screw/pin system is a pain, but once adjusted is no longer an issue. It's just the lack of taper on the bracelet that held me up. It's a very easy fix that should have been done years ago. I am not a huge fan of the helium valve, but I don't hate it either. I kind of accept that it is part of the overall look of the watch at this point. The ceramic bezel and wave dial is stunning in person.

You’re definitely not the only one. I love the Seamaster bracelet. The HE valve I can do without, but it’s certainly not a deal breaker for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
