Pocket Watch Service

Hello everyone,

I just recently purchased a Patek pocket watch from the 1920’s. It’s keeping relatively good time but I was considering having it serviced/gone over. I would particularly like the movement serviced and the dial cleaned up. Does anyone know/recommend a watchmaker they would send for such a piece? I would appreciate any help or advice you could provide. Thank you, J

I had a Patek pocket watch serviced by Grand Central Watch in New York City, they did a good job but since then I've realized their pricing is high vs. other alternatives.

If I were to do it again, I would go with LA WatchWorks which is well regarded and recommended by others (including Collectability, who recently directed me to them for Patek servicing):
