Not aware of any meetups, but I know there's the RedBar YVR chapter. Though they're a bit closed off IMO

That seems to be the way Vancouver is as a whole. I think I've seen 3 or 4 of these meet up threads over the years, they never seem to go anywhere.

Attended a small GTG in Vancouver in 2014..
Had my eye on someone's Omega for sale but didn't.... Im sure there are more members now in the past 7 years..
