Bezel insert paint come off

At 7 o clock .. at least I presume that’s what has happened. This watch is covered in scratches and I don’t care but this is really annoying me, I presume it wouldn’t be a Rolex warranty issue, is this a common thing? I could well of banged it I wear this watch pretty hard.

Where can I have this fixed and that’s the process? I’m south London. Thanks guys.

Don’t usually make posts like this but it’s really p***ing me off to look at!

Well it's platinum applied by a PVD process (so it's not paint), and it won't be covered by the warranty any more than normal scratches to the case are; wear and tear aren't covered. Are you sure it's actually damage and not just dirt? If it IS damaged then, as it's not just paint, you'll need a new insert and that's only done by RSC.

Well first reply solved my problem …

Obviously not wanting to look like an idiot I did wipe it before I posted here.. I tried again and it came off i guess I didn’t put enough elbow grease in ha ha.

Problem solved my watch is brand new again *facepalm*

Glad it wasn't anything serious. Similar thing happened with my BLNR insert and I freaked out. I found that a tiny bit of dishwasher soap works well.

Elbow greese must always be greater than the greese stuck inside bezel numbers.

FWIW as a more productive comment, I find the post 2019 numbers, in how they are finished to be super durable compared to say 2013-2016 bezels.
