Lol, I was just reading this on why no one mentioned the white gold version with black dial. I got good info from my boutique since March but they still were able to share a pic of this watch. 100 pieces I believe.

I prefer the aesthetic of the 15710, in particular the dial layout and “Audemars” engraving. I also prefer the gold rotor as it’s more befitting a luxury watch.
I do think the new one gets it right with the ceramic crowns and strap change mechanism. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I’ve never had an AP, are the Divers hard to get at the AD?

Walking into an AD and leaving with the diver right there and then may be unlikely without history/connections, but I'd hope that with a bit of patience this is obtainable. I would start with an in-person visit to a boutique (although northern CA may be not be the best starting point for that).

A few weeks before the pandemic hit, I was offered Divers at 2 separate boutiques without question. I didn't have a prior relationship with either boutique, however I was wearing my 44 ROO at the time, which may have indicated I was a "real" buyer (if they had the watch I wanted anyway).
These days, it's hard to say. You may not be able to walk out the door with one, but I would guess you could put a deposit down & order a diver "now". |

I am not sure if 15710st are still in production but I can tell you for sure that the new divers are not easy to get. When AP released the news early this year, I told my salesman that I wanted it. Till today, They don’t even accept deposit for it.

AP won’t take any money until there’s a physical watch and it’s been allocated to you. Even then a deposit isn’t necessary unless you can’t get there for a week or more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Is the new Diver available in the UK now?
