Looking for new DateJust owner, with S/N Z0XXXXX

Hi All,

I just brought a DateJust last week, and my serial number is Z009XXXX. And I notice it was a little different from others, not sure if I don't aware the new changes, or it just take place recently ....

What I notice, is that a row of Rolex wordding are now continues embossment inside the watch ring, with Rolex Logo on 12 o'clock location, and S/N on 6 0'clock location.

I understand this is a new design, for Turn-O-Graph but supprise that it now comes with DateJust too.

So I interested to know if anyone has a DateJust, that also with above embossment, and hope to share the S/N so we can know since when they started this.

Further, my watch are the new series that comes with President Bracelet, it really cool !!

Hi Remus,

A big welcome to TRF.

Yes, the new DJ does come with the broader case and new style bracelets with ALL SOLID links. What you have there is NOT the President bracelet, but the new Jubilee with concealed clasp where only the crown is visible at the back.

The Z-series you now have is the very latest 2006 manufactured model.

Congrats on an excellent watch. Post some pics when you can.

Cheers - JJ

Hey JJ:
I happily spent most of saturday experimenting with close up pics of the watch from all different angles,in all kinds of lighting with many different backgrounds. Then Played around with iphoto...I was of happy with the results....so I e-mailed a bunch out to friends to get their opinions of the watch and the pics (actually when one of my friends saw a pic on the rolex site a couple of weks ago, he asked if I would mind if he got one for himself!!)

...anyway, the problem is that I guess the file size of the pics are too big for the forum attachment reqs ..so I guess I have to rethink the situation.....

in the meantime >>>>
if anyone is interested, they can give me their e mail and I would be delighted to send out what I have so far to my watch buddies for their enjoyment (hopefully) and for comments on the photo techniques.

Love wearing this watch ..and by the way....the Dowling book is fascinating..still waiting for Brozek's book.

I received the pics, John...thanks!! They are great images, but just need to be resized to around 800 x 600 pixels and you should be fine.

Cheers - JJ
