Got my Explorer II home recently and noticed many stickers - case with bar code, clasp, etc. Took most off - I have no plans to remove the stickers on the clasp bottom - the scratch zone. A WIS wouldn't even notice. They'll fall off eventually. Won't add anything else after that.

Giving Invisishield a try but I'm definitely having someone else put it on. Can barely get a phone screen protector on. Not noticeable IMO looking at others.

Go for it OP! I'm also curious to see how this works.

People have been putting protective film on their electronics for years. To decrease scratches, wear and tear. To extend the shelf life, and to keep it looking nice. Nothing wrong with that.

Do not put scotch tape .... As other form members have suggested, there is 3m, protective tape, it's also known as helicopter tape, you could pick up different sizes from amazon for about 12 to $20, and then you will have to cut it out yourself, no big deal.
