it's barely visible in the massively blown up pic...did you actually see that with your naked eye, or just notice it when looking at 20X pics of your watch ?
Rub some dark colored dirt in over the top and forget about it...

This would drive me nuts as well. Its easy to say its a small defect but once you know its there.....

I would definitely take it to your local service center for assessment.

Perhaps try cutting a plastic straw from someplace like Starbucks on an acute angle. You end up with a very skinny edge that can fit into most cracks/gaps, it's soft so it won't scratch anything, and it's firm enough to maybe get the gunk out. Worth a shot.

My BLNR had the exact same issue. I never could figure out what it was, some kind of hard material that crumbled like plaster. Either way, I was able to remove nearly all of it by straightening a staple and carefully scraping it out

Curious if you ever found a solve for this issue? My 2020 Sub has exactly the same issue on the 10 marker.
