Aftermarket Diamond Bezel question

Has anyone ever bought a diamond bezel off ebay? I live in Hawaii so there aren't many options to buy locally. They seem to go for around $750 for a 1ct. white gold. I was looking to put one on my datejust. Any opinions? Aloha!

Myself not a fan of diamonds in mens watches, have never bought any from ebay. But one warning if you do buy from ebay they are normaly lower graded stones, than a Rolex one. Research the seller not the item, and I would doubt if Rolex would service or repair a watch with aftermarket bezel. So be fully aware of that before you even think about it.Welcome to TRF.

Hi SLiCKYV,
Welcome.

As padi said I would be carefull about buying precious stones on ebay.
Should you ever decide to send the watch to Rolex for service or repair the bezel will be removed and the correct one that came with the watch will be installed.
I doubt you would get the aftermarket back.

Welcome to TRF.
What the others have said is true. But as for not getting the aftermarket dial back from RSC, that holds true only for USRSC. The RSCs in other countries are not so draconian.

Thanks for the responses guys. Here's a pic of my current watches. I bought the SS DJ when I was 21, I think. Then I purchased the TOG when I was 24 and Carbongold at 25.
