New strap
Wondering if anyone has recent experience with getting a new PP strap. I recently got a 5146 but with my small wrist, it feels like I need a shorter strap. My AD is not very helpful and don't have any strap catalog.
Does anyone know roughly how much for a PP strap and how long it takes to get a new strap? I read that at the London Salon they measure your wrist and find the perfect match. I'm based in the US so that won't work. Is Henri Stern a good place to go get the right strap? Thanks, Ed

My advice would be to measure both your strap pieces en estimate how much you want to lose.
Then go to a website like https://www.camillefournet.com/en/ https://bulangandsons.com/ https://viscontimilano.com/ Or so many others and gt yourself a quality strap to your liking and in your size |

Just measure your wrist size and call Tracy in the strap department at Henri Stern in NYC and she will fix you up.

The default strap on your 5146 is probably a standard strap. You can ask your AD to order a shorter Patek strap for you in the colour of your choice. There is only 1 shorter strap below the standard length. It is about 10% more than the price of a standard strap unfortunately.

Super timely thread, as I am looking for new straps for the 5196P I bought this week.
My AD said they are happy to order straps for me, but also recommended that I look at: https://www.jean-rousseau.com/us/ |

Thanks for the suggestion re: Tracey at Henri Stern. Very useful information!
I did look at the 3rd party straps, but hard to tell if they work with the deploying buckle. I think I’ll go with PP straps for this one.

Took the forum’s advice and just called Tracy at Henri Stern.
She’s awesome, the wisdom of the forum proven yet again. Thank you all, I’ll be ordering a few straps for my new 5196P from Tracy and Henri Stern this week. P.S. She was amused to learn that she’s internet famous! :) |
