Servicing a Collection
If recommended AP service intervals are, say, 5 years or so, I assume that is on a daily wear watch. When you own say, 4 APs and wear them equally, would that theoretically extend the service life to 20 years? I have Rolexes going on 15 years without a service that still keep perfect time (and that my AD has said to not send in until timekeeping is off). Not sure if that is advisable with APs. What do multi-AP folks recommend and do themselves?

When a watch’s timekeeping gets significantly worse or if the amplitude (Timegrapher) decreases significantly, in it goes. Not before.
