Oyster bracelet screw heads facing different directions

Is it normal that the screw heads on the two halves of an oyster bracelet are facing different directions.

In other words, the screw heads on the 12 o’clock side of the bracelet are facing my hand, but the screw heads on the 6 o’clock side are facing my forearm.

Just wondering if this is expected or if someone put the bracelet links upside down or something.

The oyster style bracelet on my Tudor is the opposite way to yours and has only ever had 1 link removed so seems like it's a deliberate thing.
I never looked until I read this.

Each side of the bracelet is identical.

When you move them side to side you are physically reversing their position.

I just realized I got that backwards.

Anyway, thanks for the answers!
