GMT II question

Hi,
My GMT II has started making a buzzing or vibrating sound is lightly shaken. Any thoughts on what the heck is going on? I am nervous about what it may cost to get it repaired.

Could be a worn or broken rotor axle.

Thanks. Any feedback on the potential cost to repair?

If it is a broken axle then an independent could fix it relatively cheaply. However it may be an indication of a watch that could use a full overhaul and other parts replaced.

Full service would be between 600 to 800, a simle axle would be much less.

It really needs to be looked at by a watchmaker to know the issue, and why too, since a hard knock can damage other parts.

Thank you. I was expecting significantly more than that.

What model is it?

Are you sure it's not the rotor spinning around on its bearings?
