ROC vs ROO
Hello,
Ready for my first AP and have to go grey to have one. Been reading, researching, watching videos and still can't make up my mind. What I do like is stainless steel and a bracelet. For daily wear I might add For about the same price I am considering a ROC black dial or a ROO blue dial, aka The Beast" This will replace a Submariner Your opinions/comments are most welcome. |

The ROC will feel like an upgraded Daytona
The beast is just that a beast - it’s awesome but it’s hefty |

1) 26331 at retail 2) Original Beast used (may be cheapest grey/used option) 3) New Beast at retail (is that really not possible?) 4) 25th anniversary Beast used 5) 26331 grey 6) New Beast grey |

ROC gets my vote. It’s a timeless design and very under rated. You just have to decide between the outgoing 26331 or wait for the new in-house movement with new subdial layout.

The beast will be the ultimate replacement for the submariner. You will be the envy of the millions of Sub owners out there. Get it before prices climb higher

Have both an ROC panda and a ceramic ROO … for daily wear definitely the RO but get what you like and make sure to see them in real life and try them on before you make your decision… regards

Best advice is above - try them on first and then decide.

Different watches and both absolutely stunning. ROC is “prettier” and can be used in a dressy and business situation. Just gorgeous to look at.
ROO is “the beast” for a reason. Very robust and totally badass. I love both but only own ROO’s because they suit my needs more….for now…next watch will absolutely be a 41mm RO or ROC |

I have both and they are in fact very different for me.
ROC is more "precious". I wear her to the office, to party, etc. You can wear her with a suit or a hoodie. Wouldn't wear the ROO with a suit. The ROO is my toolwatch. Pool, beach, gym, skiing. She's robust and I don't mind reminding her why she's called the beast ;-) Depends on your lifestyle and interests. But no bad choices |

Going to disagree here, owning both, the ROC is on another level in almost every facet above the Daytona and more wearable than a ROO.

Depends. ROO for casual wear and on weekends and ROC for business attire

I didn’t think the 43 would fit as well as it did. The ROO is built like a tank, you can definitely feel the weight of the gold compared to the ROC. I can see this more of a daily watch than the ROC. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Would grab the current get ROC before its gone. The new ones will have more eye candy with the new movement, but they'll be thicker, and part of what makes the ROC an awesome chrono is that it wears extremely slim/svelte on the wrist.
Unless you have big wrists I would also suggest the 38mm iteration (ROs wear large).
