New SuperOcean 44

I'm slightly delayed on my incoming post, but August was a little too hectic to get around to even taking it out of the box to begin enjoying. As the dust settles, I got around to sizing it and worn for the first time today. I'm gonna love it. I've had a SO42 for many years and decided to go opposite end of color spectrum on this one!

Love it

My 9 year old Breitling Chronograph II with yellow highlights still keeping perfect time.

Honestly I enjoy it more now than when I got it.

Congrats, I am anxiously awaiting delivery of my Heritage 57 this week. I almost jumped on a good deal on a 44 SO, I am usually a 42 guy but like you wanted to try something different. How do you feel about the size difference so far? It appears negligible on your wrist.

I don't mind the 44 at all. This particular model sits quite low on the wrist (for a diver), making the 44 diameter feel a little smaller. A Pam 111 is a regular wear for me, so I'm used to a slightly larger case, but 44 is as large as I'll go. For me, there seems to be negligible difference 40-44mm cases; I feel equally comfortable with any of them.
