Buuut where did all this currency come from to buy so many things? It didn't just magically appear out of thin air for free (did it?). The IMF just gave a big warning about debt / servicing.

Have to agree. Mad frenzy started well before covid and I still don’t know - or care - what Reddit is and what it’s done. Poor article, recycling the same lazy tropes we’ve had for last couple of years.
