34mm Royal Oak wait times

Has anyone been able to purchase a 34mm lately? It would be a nice acquisition so my wife could join the AP family. Prices through the resellers seem pretty high so I'm assuming it's going to be a long wait but just curious if anyone has been through the waiting game. I expressed interest with an AD for a 15500 but I'm thinking about letting them know I would rather get the 34mm instead.

We got a 34mm white as our first AP piece from the boutique. Earlier this year, wait was about 3 months from first expressing interest in it. I'm still waiting on my blue 15450, has been about 10 months.

I had been waiting for 34mm RO for more than one month. I have been doing constant checks with the boutique, there was no availability, and I was told I might take a longer time to be fulfilled.

Getting 34mm RO is no longer as easy compared to the past. Now the demand is very strong as what my salesperson told me.

I got my wife a 34 frosted gold with the blue dial
Seems ladies pieces are a lot less difficult to acquire but who knows day to day how these things change

Less diffiuclt to acquire but can still take 6mo-1yr plus - it depends on your customer profile.

If the grey market is any indication, these pieces have become a lot more difficult to acquire. Since the 34mm wears like a 36mm it can be worn by anyone with a slender wrist.

This is true - have smaller wrists, and can rock the 34mm if I wanted to. The 34 definitely wears like a 36 due to case design.

New Hodinkee article about the 34mm royal oak: https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/th...ue-proposition.

This will surely add more hype to the demand.

Was able to find one for my wife before the AD lost the relationship with AP by end of this year. From what I've heard / seen they're not being produced in massive numbers and the ones that are have been spoken for... So expect some longer wait times going forward

My wife got her 77351ST (diamond version) from our AD instead of AP Boutique recently. Waited approximately 8 months.
