I like it. Did RSC keep the old dial?

I looked for a white gold day date, oyster bracelet, smooth bezel, fat buckle, with papers for over a year. There is not another one in the world up for sale in that configuration/specs. One of the harder to get watches that no one else wants.

Interesting. Have seen quite a few 118209 for sale lately but older non fat clasp and no original papers. Did you ended buying on a brick and mortar store or forum grey reseller ?

Wow, I neither generally like or dislike blue dials, but this looks absolutely stunning. I'm a fan of the smooth bezel. Excellent choice.

Brick and mortar who also posted on this forum. I wanted something a little outside the rank and file of typical sought after models. I reckon I'd like a yellow gold day date at some point but I can literally spot one from across the street and sometimes you don't want to have that visibility. Of course a yellow gold can be saved for special occasions but I like to have something nice as a daily driver.

Thanks. Read Rolex discontinued the 118209 to avoid people confusing it with its PT sibling 118206 when matched to the president bracelet. Enjoy it in good health !!
