Oysterquartz battery bridle screw replacement

Hi all,

I was changing the battery in my Oysterquartz myself for the first time and when reinstalling, the top of one of the battery bridle screws sheered cleanly off. I didn’t over torque it so it must have been stressed from a previous install. I was able to remove the threaded part easily with a tweezer, but now I’m one screw short. Any idea where I can purchase a replacement screw for a 5035 movement. I believe the part number is 56002.

Thanks in advance!

The battery bridle is p/n 6013, and you're correct; the screw is p/n 56002.

You should be able to order the screw from a Rolex AD with a watchmaker on staff who has a parts account, or an independent watchmaker with a Rolex parts account.

Thanks for the direction. Yes, I lived there from ‘89 to ‘99. It was pretty amazing. Hopefully I can find one of the above in Atlanta that is willing to order a screw for me.

Cool. I was there in the late sixties and early seventies. I lived on Ennylabegan (Carlos) and spent my spare time diving (usually on Prinz Eugen), sailing the Cal 20s, and flying the Nike Flying Club's Cessna 150 around the atoll.
