Rolex in Aruba

Has anyone had recent success at Gandleman’s in Aruba? Anything available in the case? Flying in on Tuesday and hoping to snag a nice piece.

I was in Aruba before COVID and the Rolex AD’s I visited did not have much in stock, times are worse today.

Interesting. I was in Aruba March of 2020 (world shut down the day after I got home) and the cases were full, albeit of DJs and Precious sports models.

Same in Maryland. You would think Rolex wouldn't want so many empty display cases

They only had six watches (mostly ladies DJ models) at the AD in Waikiki earlier this year. Six. So much empty.

I was there last month, nothing in stock…unless you’re in the market for diamond dialed lady datejusts.

Was there in Oct and they had several DJ's, some lady's watches and 3 day dates, 2 in YG and 1 in RG. But stock changes daily.

Congrats! Right place, right time. Sometimes there're exceptions to the rule.

First stop after getting off the plane was to Gandelman. I gave the sales associate a list of pieces I was interested in and he said he would reach out if anything came in. He texted me ~24 hours later. Only other purchase history was a DJ 41 in 2018. It’s nice to know there are some dealers out there who won’t shove jewelry or diamonds down your throat for a steel sports model. Can’t recommend Gandelman’s enough.

Here’s the state of the collection. The SA at Gandelman’s said “next is a GMT”

I was in Aruba yesterday, nothing. It is a purely first come first serve basis
