A Match between DJ II & Explorer II ;)

A match between DJ II & Explorer II

I know the herd will skew to Sports Model, but life is about soul, beauty in the eyes of Beholder and dare to be different, right?

Vote yours to help my decision making, please tell me is it a close match or no brainer/no competition…

Thank you!

I think you should have a black 16570 on the list.

Is this a one and only watch or a one and only Rolex?

What else is in your collection?

I would have zero occasion to wear the DJ, but that shouldn't matter to you.

Why compare to 216570 when the 226570 is the current Explorer II for sale?

116334 for me. I just can't warm to the huge thick hands on any of the 6 digit Explorer II's

I'd go for the DJII loads of wrist presence and can be dressed up or down, although I'd go for the sunburst blue baton dial.

I really don't understand what is being asked in the poll. There are two ExpII and a DJII to choose from. Is the question which will match an ExpII? Which of the three listed watches make a better pair with an ExpII? Which of the three make a best match? Which of the three do we like the best? I've no idea what is being asked. My membership to the Psychic Friends Network expired.

226570 polar for me. I know your pictures are from the 216570, but it is discontinued and I prefer the updates made to the Exp II last year.

A Match between DJ II & Explorer II

What are you planning to use it for? (Other than telling the time)

I have that 116334, which I think is best version, and Polar Exp II. I sold Polar. I thought Polar was the most disappointing Rolex I have owned. Hated the dial in person. Not sure why exactly, but the white was just not too special IMO. Tried to like it, to no avail.

I have both, I think the Datejust 41 is very handsome. The Explorer bezel can really get dinged up if your not very careful. I also love my Air King I would consider that as well.

How easy Explorer 2 will get dinged compared to DJ as the same should apply to DJ fluted bezel too?
