Omega Seamaster 300m steel bracelet options. Need help.

Guys,

I am about to pull the trigger on a brand new Seamaster Diver 300m in black. I am not a huge fan of the bracelet thought. It might grow on me however are there any other options from Omega bracelets that you have tried and it worked ? Maybe some Aqua Terra bracelets ?

I am looking for a steel bracelet that will taper hopefully from Omega itself.

Looking forward to your reply.

I heard the uncle Seiko bracelet is pretty good. It has the solid end link in the updated version. You may want to give it a try.

Here are the 2 options:

Checkout the new President 1450 bracelets from Forstner made specifically for SMP. I just ordered and waiting for mine to cross the border.

Nice. That second one is like the planet ocean design. I wish we could use our folding buckle/clasp with it.

You can probably find something with flat end links. Likely vintage. Omega has great rubber straps and natos. Check with the AD I bet they can special order.

Thank you. I am just a bit OCD about the clasp being Omega as well. Maybe I am a bit crazy like that

I will order the black rubber strap together with the watch as well. Just trying to find some Omega bracelets that will feet. I have seen photos of Speedmaster bracelets on SMP however wanted to check with community here if someone has tried it and has a feedback.

Thank you.

I hear ya. I think the clasp can be replaced with Omega clasp. Some guys might have already done that. I will take a look when I get mine.

Let me know how it works out OP. Wearing my 300 right now and the bracelet feels like an anchor.

Check with member Spikedlee. Here's a link to the OEM Omega bracelet he settled on for his Seamaster 300: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=793421

Here’s mine on an Uncle Seiko beads of rice. It’s lighter than the OEM bracelet and tapers just a little, so it’s an easy wear. I’m usually a stickler for the original bracelet, and while I like the clasp for the Seamaster, that bracelet is way too heavy for my liking.

I was at the Short Hills Mall in NJ last evening and stopped in the Omega boutique to have a look around. Dave, the rep that I have worked with in the past told me about a new stainless steel mesh bracelet that they recently received. They had it displayed on the blue dial and thought that it looked awesome. He was nice enough to put it on my Sedna gold and I liked the look and I purchased it on the spot. I believe the cost is $740. The reference number is 0020STZ015687. IMO it gives the watch an entire new look and feel. Hope that this helps - Joe D

Looks awesome! I read about that "new" mesh in another forum. Do you happen to know what size you have?

Good evening, the new bracelet is truly a stunning piece. I was so surprised when he showed it to me. He said the received a shipment of 12 about two weeks ago. I have a 7.5” wristband I bounce between the 2nd and 3rd hole from the last. It is micro adjustable. There are a total of 7 holes.

Love this watch but one of the reasons I haven’t pulled the trigger yet as well. Bracelet is absolutely horrendous in my opinion and the rubber strap is nowhere near as good as the aqua terra rubber strap. Not sure why they went this route
