Not quite true Swiss only dials ran from 1998 into 2000 possible longer in production runs and no 100% cut off period.

$6,500 for a 16610, I couldn't understand why there was talk of haggling......until I realised this is resurrected from 2019........ As said Swiss only dials were from 1997/8 to 2000, usually later U and A Serial numbers. I've had my U Serial GMT ll since 2005 and it's followed the general price of 16710's, no more no less. Swiss only dials are not rare and I think if they were to have attracted a premium, it would have been in the current crazy Rolex frenzy but that's not the case.

Thanks for that Paddy,,,,,
I recently had the chance to purchase a 1999 A serial ,full set,,.
Serviced in 2016 at RSC and it was an offer from a good friends
Family member ,,
,I was thinking of a five digit to go with my 6 digit but was stunned when he asked £10k ,,
trying to justify it but saying it’s a Swiss only dial and produced with that dial for a very short time,,
I said thanks but no thanks and good luck,,,
See A and U series on C24 for £12+ and about the same or more if from the EU etc once Vat and import duty kicks in,,,
Why the huge premiums? or is it just relying on peoples ignorance?,,,,,

Swiss dials will be 20k within 2 years imo. Just bought a fullset, mint, unpolised for 12k euro.
