114060 from Tourneau

I purchased a 2017 Submariner (114060) from Tourneau. No box, but has papers they’re sending to me. Outside of people’s issues with price and customer service, any worries about authenticity?

I love the watch, it feels incredible on my wrist. I just want to put my mind at ease that it’s the real thing.

Thanks!

Tourneau should have a pretty good authentication process, one would think. You can always bring it somewhere after to get a second opinion.

Great choice on the 114060 by the way, can't go wrong with the original Sub as the no date dial is so clean. It's my favourite watch in my collections that's stolen all the wrist time.

You are good with tourneau, they are a Rolex retailer.

Get it checked out by RSC before your Tourneau warranty is over. It won’t cost you anything to get a routine service quote, which you can turn down, but will authenticate the watch.

I’d say no issue buying from an AD

Done business with them before they have a great rep for a reason. But, if you’re skeptical at all sending it to RSC for a service quote as others have suggested should give you 100% confidence.

never understood the logic of paying good money for a watch and then going on a forum to ask random people about authenticity.

authenticate first. then make the purchase.

that being said, tourneau is typically a trusted source.

Can't speak to the condition but Tourneau as many have noted should be solid. They are a AD for many brands including Rolex.

You should be fine since they are an AD. If it is a fake and they missed it, then it's really good. A police friend of mine told me he had a case with fake Rolex watches and Rolex sent an expert to examine and testify. The expert authenticated the fake in court. The police knew the watch was fake because of the serial numbers, but it was so good that the Rolex expert testified in court it was real. The only way in life to be 100% sure is to buy new from an AD.

I wouldn’t be concerned about authenticity with them. They are very legt. Part of Bucherer now. Customer service is awful though. But ymmv

Apparently they keep all Rolex cards at their corporate office, then send them when a watch is purchased.

This is true, I purchased from Tourneau in Boston and all warranty cards and papers on pre-owned watches are held at the corp HQ

Legit company but I find their prices to usually be on the higher side.

Would be 100% authentic and 50% chance over polished (per viewing the Vegas pre owned counter).

While I have never purchased a watch from Tourneau, I am pretty sure they have been in business for more than 100 years. And you think they might sell fake watches??
