Welcome to the Rolex Discontinued forum which was once a forum about the history and the actual watches made by the RWC.

Maybe TRF should have a sub-forum: TRF-DF.

Or wait -- The Official "I heard this Rolex is about to be discontinued" thread.

OP you can do better. They all get discontinued. Buy and wear what you like not what you think will explode in value.

Doesn’t matter to me since i have mine already. Others still waiting on it would beg to differ.

Ppl with the means should’ve hopped on it back then when it was still easy to get if they liked it. Seems like the recent spike in interest/value is due to social media and fomo.

This piece used to get no love hovering around $15-18k USD in the secondary market. Glad it’s getting the attention it deserves now

Probably not because it’s the only 2 tone rose gold model that Rolex has in the gmt-master class

Same logic with the Platinum Daytona, since it’s the flagship Rolex sports model they really have no reason to and the watch is the only platinum sports model in the Rolex line up

Doubt it. I think it will get released on two tone rose gold jubilee actually (like the Pepsi and Batman both have oyster and jubilee).

Aside from the obvious fact that you have this watch, why would rolex discontinue a reference only a few years old, in literally their only two tone/full colored gold GMT variety?

They're definitely launching a Coke this year, just Like last year.

The CHNR is definitely going to be discontinued this year, just like last year.

This has already happened. Rolex do not make or sell a sports line. It's just the Professional and Classic now. I really miss those sports models.
