i love my seamaster and would do that trade, but would grab an aqua terra and a speedmaster.
i read that you wanted a dressier piece (aqua terra) and i think the diver 300M would be too much of the same.
aqua terra is still a relatively sporty watch. i think to add the new sppedy would make a great pair

It has been 5 months since OP posted so he should have already made his mind, why revive this thread?

Because it's slightly more entertaining than a wait list thread?

No no no. Not for two Omega's. Not for three Omega's.

To each their own but i sold my seamaster for a whole host of reasons. You want to love it for the price, and the specs, and the colors, and the sapphire caseback, and the adjustable bracelet, and the antimagnetic movement etc etc etc... And it wasnt for me. Hated the He valve, hated the slippery-when-wet bezel, hated the non-tapering bracelet, hated the size (42mm and more importantly 50mm lug to lug), felt heavy/chunky and I didnt like the front crystal either. Wears nice in the store, ticks a lot of boxes. Then you take it home and wear it for a couple of days... maybe go to the beach or the pool, and then you understand why it will never be a sub.

Add the aqua terra. Nice watch.

To contribute to an ancient thread…keep the Sub. Save and buy the Aqua Terra. It’s a great watch (the green dial is excellent) and would compliment the Sub as a dressier option. I am a big modern Omega fan but the Sub is still the most versatile watch on the planet.

I just read your OP. If you want to do this because you don’t want to wait for a datejust 41, then just add one omega now. You sold your LV, thinking of selling your LN, seems like you get bored with watches. I have been there, but just be careful because if you get bored with your omega you will not make your money back.

But I also think you will miss owning a Rolex. I have had a few Omegs's over the years but prefer Rolex.

I would take a long term view of trying to get 2 new Rolex's at retail and sell the Sub.
Something like the DJ41 (smooth bezel/Jubilee) and an Explorer ll/YM that are not 'too hard' to get hold of with a bit of patience.
And start saving a little for when they land.

If you get your name down and are not in a rush, they should eventually arrive. When the first one becomes available, sell the Sub and wait for the 2nd.

I am currently thinking of selling my BLNR to get a YM or Explorer and pocket the difference.

I had an LV like you also and struggled with the colour.....but it got stolen anyway.

Bought the DJ a couple of years ago and love it. My go to watch. It actually does everything I want and is more comfortable than the sport models.
The BLNR hardly gets worn now, but I will keep a sports Rolex. And the YM is more comfortable than the Sub but with similar functionality.
Love your DJ - I’m waiting for one in exactly the same configuration. What size wrist have you got and how do you find it wears please?

Three great watches so no wrong choices here. That green Aqua tera is stunning in person. And the Omegas have much better movements, even compared to the new subs. You'll get a lot of "no's" on this forum and a lot of "yes's" on the Omega forum. I would chose the Seamaster 300 Heritage in blue or black along with the green aqua terra if it were me but I say do it.
