Icon20 lazer etched crown

I just purchased a 116244 Datejust, 2009 V serial, pink dial, from a Chrono 24 seller, and I'm having trouble finding/seeing the lazer etched crown at the 6 oclock position. It should have it , correct?

You will struggle to see it with the naked eye, especially on a pink dial. You will need a decent light source and the correct angle to stand any chance of seeing it.

A quick google search will tell you when Rolex started laser etching their crystals.

I can hardly see it on most of my watches, all of which were purchased from AD. i usually see it best on really sunny days.

I have to shine a small torch down onto the 12 and then look sideways at the 6 with a magnifying glass to see the crown

That method is shown on YouTube - I’m sure there will be other ways on there if it doesn’t work for you
