Hi Kev

welcome to TRF.

The Air King is a great watch and is a great start to an eventual whole stable of Rolexes.

Hi

thank you all to the kind words, sorry I havent replied earlier. Im frantically saving and hopefully will have the Air-King on my rist after my wedding so should be around end July. Been reading up a little on the Air-King to see what movement it has and it seems like a good value entry into Rolex so looking forward to getting one. Think Goldsmiths where im planning on buying it are getting to know me as I bob in at least once a week to have a look.

Regards
Kev

Now then Kevin,

Good choice of watch - and good luck on the impending nuptials. Words of advice: If you can get through the last six months of wedding planning before the big day without walking away, the marriage afterwards is an absolute breeze.

Cheers,

That one looks well nice, the one im looking at has a plane bezel and silver/very light gold face. am still undecided on exact features but its definatly going to be an Air King. The marriage prep has been hard and paying for wedding bits is making the saving up for a Rolex hard but is going to be worth the wait :)
